History:  This troop has been in existence for over 40 years.  The troop focuses on the development of leadership among its members as evident by the number of scouts who have achieved the rank of Eagle.  By the end of 2007, 42 scouts had fulfilled the requirements to receive this award; and many more have earned their Eagle since.

Fundraiser:  The troop has an annual Christmas Wreath Sale.  Scouts are required to sell a minimum of $500 to cover troop operating expenses.  Sales more than the minimum are credited to the scouts' account for them to draw against to pay for outings and other scouting related expenses.  It is very easy to generate the minimum sales.  Other sales items have included popcorn and coffee.
